Alaska Hunts
Dall Sheep

(see photos at bottom of page)

Dall Sheep are by far my favorite animal to hunt in Alaska.  Hiking into the beautiful, majestic Alaskan mountains is truly a thrill all its own.  Must you be a top-notch athlete to complete this hunt?  No!  However, you do need to be in good physical condition, all the better to enjoy this hunt ... not to mention life in-general.

Dall Sheep can be found throughout most of the interior mountain ranges of Alaska and Canada.  The males (rams) weigh between 200 and 300 pounds on-the-hoof and generally live to be no more than 12 years old.  Additionally, they have exceptionally keen eyesight -- equal to 8-power binoculars!

Currently, our Dall Sheep average 37" in length with 13-3/16" bases.

Camps consist of lightweight mountaineering tents, wall tents, or permanent frame cabins depending upon the area and species sought.  All equipment is of the highest quality available and upgraded on a regular basis.

Hunts are conducted on a one-guide-per-hunt basis (1x1) unless previously arranged.  All guides are appropriately licensed and will do their utmost to see to your safety and success in obtaining the trophy of a lifetime.
